I don't know where you actually got the ring, but it wasn't for the downloading game data. I've started new accounts literally over a dozen times. The rewards for that initial data download are always the same, and they don't include a ring. It's an Offense shield, an Offense weapon, and some magic XP brews. No ring. AFAIK, the only rings that are guaranteed to roll a certain faction are the day 3 login reward ones. My guess is you got lucky with the ring from normal campaign stars, and then forgot where you actually got it.

I already suggested on Stewgaming, you guys should create a guild and work together to xp it up, also have a common ruleset, say list of restricted legendaries or perhaps you can use only lev 60 rank 6 legendaries (with exception of free ones) and perhaps some win condition say 30 days after getting scyl of drakes or similar.

tip for new players: the first thing you want to do after the tutorial is click on clans, join a clan. then go to clan quests and pick "elite". find the "3 rare campaign shields" quest and "finish in top 3 of tournament" quest. choose those two. then go to "expert" and find the "1 rare campaign shield", and choose that. the game gives you the rare shields within the first few campaign stages, and you will have 2 of the 3 done and an easy 500 clan coins (very valuable for f2p). then, after 2 days of playing, finish in the top 3 of your tournament (which is fairly easy since so many people drop out), and get 300 more coins for finishing the final quest..... if you're trying to do a f2p right, maximizing clan coin rewards every week is a huge resource. you can buy energy, Yannica fragments, and valuable, high level reaction accessories for your champions that can't be found anywhere else in the game

Always loved your f2p content bro it helped me a lot transitioning from low to mid spender to f2p. After 2 years f2p is so fun I get the appeal.

One thing that no one mentions is when that new acct tournament starts. I wasted so many points pushing so far and getting no credit for it 😢

Tournament starts at midnight for me which is GMT -5. Not sure how this works for others though as daily reset for me is 7pm.

IMO you should always pull the first few ancients you get in the first 2-3 days of your account, because the chances you get anything that's worth more than your starter champion are very high. I get the idea of playing a F2P account in a super efficient manner, but getting a solid Epic right off the bat and investing in that champion instead of your starter is actually more efficient.
