Well, If u combine de frezzing and the imortal field combined can become almost imortal... U can suvive death... O suvived up until 35 and a second Death came and both killed me.
You can nerf items by introducing new items. That is one of the best ways to nerf items. Making more builds possible but having a certain build less probable.
Oh I love this game's aesthetic. Reminds me of an old game called Crimsonlands, similar gameplay, you ran around hordes of swarming units, shot guns at them, levelled up and got upgrades that made you passively and actively stronger. Some other games that are like this too are Clash 'N' Slash, Nova Drift, Magic Survival, and anything D2/Path of Exile like has a similar vibe too

Going far enough left in Library let's you find up to 2 Empty Tome, right for 1 Stone Mask. When trying to min max I like to go far enough in each direction to spawn in 1 Tome and Mask then fight in the area until I reach the 6 passive item cap, then grab both extra items for 2 overflow

build idea - fire stuff + move speed = you shoot fireball and run with it, ant then shoot more more and more and they stack to wave of death
you just need to run as fast as fireball flies so dont pick up projectile speed
do a run with bones and birds!

Your idea about luck - not too good
here somthing better:
luck add chance to get somthing after max lvl
you get + gold, +hp and lets say... some buff on 15 sec.
now luck just dead weight after max lvl
also i want ability to discard lvl up bonuses
lets say i already near full build and get 3 bonuses and all of them bad
give me 2 small buttons down on the screen
discard and get 25 gold
and
discard and get 30% hp
also something like increase chance to get consumable from enemy would be nice
