This was my first time recording something like this and I never expected it to get more than a couple of 100 views so thank you! 1. Currently the most up to date custom firmware is Tiramisu. You can find out more here: 🤍 2. I was slightly unclear about this, but injects do not appear in this program. I will most likely make a video on this in the future, but you can only find injects through FTPIIU. 3. This program does not work well for vWii saves. The program SaveGame Manager GX is a better way to manage vWii saves. I made a guide on it: 🤍 4. You can transfer virtual consoles saves to your PC or 3DS if they are the right file extension or you can try to use a hex editor to convert them. They are not encrypted as I mentioned at 11:25 5. In this tutorial we will create a backup of your NAND on your SD card.This will allow you to restore your device using a hardmod in the case of a brick. If you have a black Wii U (32GB) model, your SD card must be at least 64GB in size. If you have a white (8GB) Wii U model, your SD card must be at least 16GB in size. Note that Mocha CFW users should follow these instructions after a reboot without running Mocha CFW (using the browser based Homebrew Launcher) to prevent Wii U NAND Dumper from freezing. Before starting, you may want to check your SD card for errors using H2testw (Windows), F3 (Linux), or F3X (Mac)! I got this Wii U Console off of eBay and while it did work, it was pretty gross. In this video we take the console completely apart, clean up the plastics, motherboard, and metal, reassemble the console, then give a good polishing. The Wii U console isn't terribly hard to get into and put back together, but it does take some time and has about 25 screws(about 6 different variations). The antenna runs can be a bit a tricky too. If you are concerned your console might be clogged with grossness, this is a solid guide to getting in there and preventing issues before they start. The whole job: 6/10.
