I have used many GoPro gimbals over the years and the problem is compatibility. GoPro has changed the form factor of the GoPro two years in a row and this can be a problem as the dimensions and size changes mean they no longer fit into the existing gimbal ecosystem. With a non-camera-specific gimbal, this will never be an issue. We also talk about if we even need to use a gimbal with the GoPro Hero 9 Black as the stabilization with Hypersmooth 3.0 is incredible. Mir selbst ist er leider gebrochen. Daher Vorsicht beim Kamerawechsel und der Montage. - Das Gimbal ist aus Kunststoff und wirkt daher nicht so hochwertig wie ein Stabilizer aus Metall. Mit 370g ist das Gimbal dafür sehr leicht. - Um eine Bewegungszeitrafferaufnahme zu erstellen muss das Gimbal mit der APP gekoppelt werden. If you use Linear field of view with Horizon Leveling + Hypersmooth Boost stabilisation you can loose even 22% of your resolution to stabilise your video. Now with mechanical stabilisation such as from a Gimbal you dont have that problem as most of the work is done by it and you dont have to use Hypersmooth, though in this case I found that Isteady Pro 4 does require a bit of help from Hypersmooth so I used the standard stabilisation from the camera to smooth out some of the shakes. The gimbal gonna also keep your horizon perfectly straight in Wide field of view no matter how you move that camera and it doesnt matter what settings and frame rates you select so you are not limited because of that. It can also come in handy when we record vidoes in Low light as Hypersmooth needs a lot of light to do its job and in Low light it simply doesn't work well giving us unstable footage. The same thing happens when you use ND filters with your camera and as a result reduce the amount of light coming to camera's sensor. Hypersmooth gonna struggle once again in this situation. So basically this Gimbal gonna help smooth out most of the shakes in your footage, and can greatly improve your battery life if you use it as a power bank on your trip. Dolly Backwards: The dolly backwards gimbal shot is a great one, if you want to get Sam Kolder like shots with your GoPro Hero 8 and your Hohem Tech iSteady Pro 3. For this cinematic GoPro gimbal move you also need to lock the iSteady Pro 3 gimbal because you won't be able to focus yourself on the GoPro Hero 8, you need to focus yourself on walking, as you have to walk very fast for this cinematic gimbal move. With the Hohem Tech iSteady Pro 3 gimbal you can tilt the GoPro Hero 8 upwards with the joystick and like that it's very easy to get this cinematic gimbal move.
