has anyone ever pointed out how imbalanced this show was at portraying gender? in between cases, Mulder is shown exercising, running on a track (how does a guy get to run on a track like that?) or swimming in red speedos, or shown running around the apartment with his shirt off? Whereas Scully is bound to her desk wearing glasses, typing up field reports. 
Scully (and women) dont exercise, women are meant to be perfect as they are
