DJI Mini 4 Pro buying guide for which kit and accessories you need. Is Fly More kit worth it? Is the DJI RC 2 Smart Controller worth it, and what you can save money on. Only two things I REALLY insist on are 1. Extra Battery 2. ND Filters (ND 16 being most important) ND filters you only need if you want to pursue video as a hobby and get quality stuff. You WANT 1 extra battery (don't need 5, just 1) that way one battery will charge in the car while you are flying with the other. The DJI RC 2 I have said over and over again... It makes the experience MUCH better when you don't have to deal with a phone/app/calls/phone battery. Just a nice big bright dedicated screen. Turn on drone, turn on remote, fly away. Makes me rub my nipples with delight. If you REALLY are trying to save, just get a used Mini 3 pro. You will give up the nicer camera which is a huge deal to me, but I can understand if you want the mini 3 pro for all the other cool features and don't prioritize the camera quality. I always will though. It also has omni-directional obstacle avoidance Night Mode is now added for low-light video You can see a map marker for yourself on the live view from the drone New Smart Remote (DJI RC 2) is faster to start up and brighter Almost everything else is the same. So if picture quality ISNT your concern, now is a great time to get a used Mini 3 Pro. From the dynamic range, nicer exposure balancing, richer color in highlights and vibrance in the default picture profile. I think it is worth the money.
