In last week's edition of Plant One On Me, we got a tour of Hortus Botanicus, but what I left out was their (ahem, drum roll please....) Private Pelargonium (geranium) collection, which is world class! I have to say that I live for tours like this, as these collections are more behind-the-scenes than for public viewing. Back in February when I was there, they had JUST acquired this collection, and since that time, there haven't been any camera crews in there, so YOU'RE THE FIRST TO SEE THIS COLLECTION. I hope it opens your eyes to the breadth of Pelargoniums, as it had mine! In this video I cut back my Zonal Geraniums (Pelargoniums) to create smaller bushier plants which will not be damaged as easily by the wind. I use the trimmed stems to make cuttings which will grow into new young pelargonium plants. My plan is to increase my collection of Pelargoniums so that I can fill my patio planters. Geef weinig water in winter. De aarde in de pot mag zelfs opdrogen. Gaan de bladeren slap hangen? Geef dan beetje water. - Word GRATIS lid van mijn Youtubekanaal: 🤍 Mijn Snapchataccount (accountnaam: JufJannieApps) - Volg me op Twitter: 🤍JufJannieApps.
