This is "Arcanum - A New Age of Magic," one of Skyrim's largest spell mods. This mod adds hundreds of spells to the game available through a variety of means from four of the five magic schools (Alteration has not yet been added). In this video, I rank my top 15 favorite spells from this mod on the basis of spell design, fun factor, and opportunities to create new combat styles. If there's enough interest, I may also make similar rankings lists in the future for other magic spell mods, such as Apocalyse, Mysticism, or Odin. Arcanum - A New Age of Magic might be one of the most ambitious spell mod ever. In the current version of the mod, there are 53 new spells from the destruction school of magic, and in the next version the author will release new spells for restoration school. I can tell you right away that all of the spells are quite interesting, with very good visual effects, and in this video you can see 20+ spells that I hand picked as my personal favourites.
